Blue Hills Reservation is the heart of this surprisingly eclectic town. Not far from the bustle town edge, this green space boasts over 100 trails and 7000 acres of winter skiing,summer hiking, and more events and attractions than any simple post could even hope to capture.

EUSTIS ESTATE

This is a must visit if you’re at all interested in architecture. The Eustis Estate describes itself as a “marvel of the aesthetic movement” and it truly is a marvel. 80 acres of pristine landscaping and one of a few examples of original, 19th century architecture, it sits at the foot of the blue hills. With self-guided tours available most days, a visit is a great way to learn about the era, and experience the life of an area aristocrat.
