Poop Away Insights is an internal tool for authorized Poop Away personnel to review business performance using QuickBooks Online and Sweep & Go records.
What the tool is for
The connection supports revenue analysis, customer acquisition comparisons, expense reviews, and identifying bookkeeping items that need human review. AI-assisted findings must be checked against source records before business or bookkeeping decisions are made. The current client retrieves records and does not create, edit, or delete QuickBooks transactions.
Who can use it
This tool is for Poop Away’s own business. It is not a public accounting service or a signup portal for other QuickBooks companies.
Connection status
Sandbox connection testing is complete. Production access is being configured. This public page does not display financial records. Start a connection only from the authorized local Poop Away Insights application.
Privacy notice
Effective September 20, 2026. This notice covers Poop Away Insights, operated by Poop Away.
Information and purpose. When an authorized company administrator connects QuickBooks, the tool can retrieve company information, accounting reports, and relevant transaction, customer, and vendor records. These records are used for Poop Away’s internal financial analysis, reconciliation, and management reporting.
Processing and sharing. Intuit provides the connected accounting data. Authorized personnel may use OpenAI’s Codex to assist with development and analysis and compare accounting results with Sweep & Go records. This involves processing selected information through those services. The configured AI account has model-training sharing disabled. Poop Away Insights does not train AI models on QuickBooks data, sell the data, publish business records, or use them for unrelated customers.
Storage and access. Connection credentials and tokens are encrypted for the authorized Windows account. Retrieved records and derived reports may be saved in the owner’s local workspace and accessed by authorized personnel. Copies shared with service providers are subject to their applicable retention and privacy terms. The public website is for app information and connection handling, not public access to financial reports.
Disconnection and deletion. The administrator can revoke access through QuickBooks connected-app settings. Disconnection stops new access but does not automatically erase previously exported records or reports. To request removal of local app records or assistance with copies held by service providers, contact Poop Away at mark@callpoopaway.com. Records needed for accounting, legal obligations, or ongoing business reporting may be retained; other copies can be removed when no longer needed.
Terms of use
Effective September 20, 2026. Poop Away Insights is provided for authorized internal use by Poop Away. Only a person authorized to access the company’s QuickBooks records may connect or use the tool. Do not use it to access another company’s data without authorization or share connection credentials.
Reports and AI-assisted analysis may contain errors or omissions. Verify material findings against original records and obtain appropriate professional review before changing books, filing taxes, or making financial decisions. This tool does not provide independent accounting, tax, or legal services.
Availability depends on the local application and third-party services and may change or be interrupted. Intuit and other service providers’ applicable terms continue to govern their services. Use may be discontinued by disconnecting the app.
